01 / OUR COMPANY

The work below.
The difference above.

Construction experience. Clear communication. Practical solutions.

Founded in 2017, Suarez Underground Communications LLC brings together skilled tradespeople, project managers, and support staff to serve underground construction and telecommunications projects.

We support commercial, residential, and industrial projects with boring, excavation, conduit, and fiber and cable installation services. Every project begins with understanding the site, the intended utility, and the work required to put it in place.

02 / UNDERGROUND CAPABILITIES

The right method.
A stronger foundation.

Five core services for the infrastructure
your project depends on.

01TRENCHLESS CROSSINGS

Horizontal directional drilling

A steerable underground installation method for routing conduit and pipe along a planned path. HDD can reduce the need for continuous surface trenching when site conditions and the installation design allow.

Useful for utility routes beneath roads, driveways, and landscaped areas.

  • Route and crossing review
  • Pilot bore, enlargement, and pullback planning
  • Conduit or pipe installation coordination

02SHORT UNDERGROUND CROSSINGS

Pneumatic boring

Also called pneumatic piercing or impact moling, this method uses an air-powered tool to form an underground bore. It can be a practical option for short, relatively straight crossings in suitable soil.

Useful for smaller utility crossings beneath sidewalks and driveways.

  • Entry and receiving area planning
  • Crossing alignment and ground-condition review
  • Coordination of the conduit or service line

03OPEN-CUT CONSTRUCTION

Excavation & trenching

Where direct access is the right approach, excavation creates space for underground utility installation. The scope may include trenches, installation pits, and access areas suited to the planned work.

Useful for accessible utility routes and installation areas that require an open trench.

  • Utility trench and pit excavation
  • Installation access and work-area coordination
  • Backfill and surface restoration scope review

04TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Fiber & cable installations

Underground placement of fiber-optic and communications cable, coordinated with the planned route and pathway. We work with your project requirements to define the installation scope and connection points.

Supporting new communications routes, network extensions, and property connections.

  • Cable route and conduit-pathway coordination
  • Underground fiber and cable placement
  • Handoff requirements aligned with your project team

05UTILITY PATHWAYS

Conduit & utility installations

Conduit creates a dedicated underground pathway for cable infrastructure. We coordinate the route and installation method around the utility, site access, and construction requirements.

Supporting communications pathways and other specified underground utility routes.

  • Conduit route and material review
  • Bored or trenched installation approaches
  • Connection-point and project sequencing coordination

ONE COORDINATED PROJECT

Construction support beyond the installation.

Our general contracting and project management services help align crews, construction activities, and communication with your broader project plan.

03 / HOW WE WORK

A clear plan.
From start to finish.

The installation method should fit the site. We begin with your project requirements, discuss the approach, and maintain communication as the work progresses.

01

Review your project

Share the location, utility type, available plans, crossing details, and desired timeline.

02

Define the installation approach

Discuss access, ground conditions, existing utilities, and whether boring or excavation best fits the proposed scope.

03

Coordinate construction

Align project responsibilities, installation activities, and communication with your team.

04

Complete the agreed scope

Review installation, backfill, restoration, and handoff needs as defined for your project.

BEFORE WE BREAK GROUND

Plan your project
with confidence.

Every location brings different requirements.
Here’s where the conversation starts.

What is the difference between HDD and pneumatic boring?

Horizontal directional drilling uses a steerable drill path. Pneumatic boring uses an air-powered piercing tool and is typically suited to short, relatively straight crossings. The appropriate method depends on the route, ground conditions, utility size, and site access.

When is excavation the better option?

An open trench may suit a route where surface access is available or where the installation needs direct access along the alignment. Boring can help limit continuous surface disturbance at suitable crossings. We review the scope before discussing an approach.

What should I provide for a project discussion?

Send the site address, a brief description of the utility, available drawings, approximate route or crossing length, access details, and your preferred schedule. Include any known surface restoration requirements.

Does fiber installation include splicing and testing?

Our service description covers underground fiber and cable placement. If your project needs splicing, termination, testing, or network activation, include those requirements so responsibilities can be confirmed in the agreed scope.
